The purpose of this web site is to provide concise arguments based on science which support creation of the universe by God. Much more detailed information is available elsewhere for each topic presented herein. The facts are plain for any open-minded person to see.
Creation is supported by science. The earth, life and universe were either (1) created by a supernatural God, without regard to the laws of science, or, (2) they evolved due only to random chance and time, without regard to God. Evolutionists ignore scientific arguments favoring creation while they zealously proclaim that life arose by chance. As you will shortly see, numerous laws of science support the creation of the universe by God.
The Theory of Evolution is not based on scientific research nor is it a fact. The theory of evolution gained recognition before the advent of high powered telescopes and electron microscopes, and, before the science of genetics was well understood. Evolution fails when studied at a level of detail now possible with electron microscopes and other modern technology. The theory is based solely on conjecture and is tantamount to a false religion for unbelievers.
The archaeological record contains no evidence supporting evolution. If life evolved, the fossil record would contain millions upon millions upon millions of intermediate life forms linking the surviving species. Intermediates should be everywhere and far outnumber other forms, but, they do not. Only fully formed fossils have been found. This fact alone should preclude the Theory of Evolution to an open-minded person. Relate this to an attempt to prove a murder case where there is no body, no suspect, no weapon, and no proof the victim existed in the first place. Such a case would be laughed out of court, yet, evolutionists readily accept such conjecture. It is noteworthy that these missing life forms were troubling to Darwin in that he was aware that the fossil record refuted his theory.
The Second Law of Thermodynamics prohibits evolution. Scientists understand that our universe operates according to the Laws of Thermodynamics. Therefore, if life evolved, it followed these Laws. However, the Second Law of Thermodynamics states, in substance, that everything deteriorates, wears out or breaks down; no natural system evolves from disorder to order, or, simple to complex. Look around. Your body degrades over time; it doesn’t improve. For example, all stars will be burned up according to the second law of thermodynamics. Therefore, life would not evolve upwardly.
The Anthropic Principle evidences the highly ordered nature of the universe and refutes the theory of evolution. Scientists have long recognized that the universe is very precisely organized to allow life to exist on earth. The more one studies the universe, the more obvious it becomes that this precision could only result from the hand of God, not by chance.
Our universe is highly ordered which is inconsistent with the big bang theory espoused by many evolutionists. The big bang would have produced disorder as would occur during any explosion. There has never been an explosion, e.g., a big bang, that yielded order.
It has been estimated by experts that the mathematical probability of the earth evolving is so miniscule that it is impossible. In order to make this probability more plausible, evolutionists must argue that the earth is billions of years old. However, much objective evidence indicates that the earth is relatively young. It has been estimated in practical terms that the chance of life evolving on earth is comparable with the chance that a tornado sweeping through a junk yard would assemble a Boeing 747 from materials found in the junk yard.
Many species are too complex to have evolved. The Bombardier Beetle and Hummingbird are examples among many. Such species could not survive with a partially developed set of organs such as would occur in an intermediate life form and would have become extinct long ago.
Genetic principles refute evolution. We now know the differences observed by Darwin in birds, which he attributed to evolution, were no more than expected genetic variation.
Natural selection tends to stabilize each species so as to prevent degradation drift downwardly and evolution drift upwardly. Therefore, natural selection tends to keep a species constant by eliminating any mutated species.
Each living cell is such a complex machine, as seen under the electron microscope, that one could not have evolved. The complexity of cells has been well documented by Dr. Michael Behe, a biochemist, in his book Darwin’s Black Box. Interestingly, Darwin knew his theory would not work unless cells were simple.
Mathematical odds are overwhelmingly against the possibility that all amino acids found in living matter would be left-handed. Amino acids occur in nature in both right and left handed forms and thus any primordial soup would have contained both forms. It is nonsensical to believe that only left handed amino acids evolved from such a mixture.
In order for evolution to have occurred, it would have required many millions of years (the earth and solar system are about 4.5 billion years old according to evolutionists). However, there are many scientific reasons to believe the earth is relatively young. Because evolution requires so much time, evolutionists must argue for a very old earth.
Scientists believe the sun is a burning ball of gases which are being consumed as evidenced by the observation that the diameter of the sun is decreasing each year by an amount estimated to be about 0.1% per century. Thus, the sun cannot be 4.5 billion years old, because considering the amount it is decreasing in size, it would have been large enough to touch the earth at a time in the past of about 20 million B.C. which would have destroyed all life.
It has been observed that the magnetic field of earth is decreasing at a rate indicating that the earth is only about 6,000 to 10,000 years old. If the earth were 4.5 billion years old as claimed by evolutionists, its magnetic field would have been unrealistically intense.
Numerous archaeological artifacts, e.g., drawings, carvings, etc., indicate that man and dinosaurs lived on earth at the same time. This is indicative of a young earth.
Radiometric dating using Carbon-14 has flaws that make it unreliable which leads to erroneous conclusions that the earth is billions of years old. On the other hand, much objective evidence indicates that the earth is quite young.
Polonium halos occur in granite indicating that granite formed almost instantaneously and is powerful evidence of a young earth. Dr. Robert Gentry, a nuclear physicist, documented the existence of these halos decades ago in his book Creation’s Tiny Mystery.
